Item Description

Y'shtola has spent years as the sharpest mind in the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, so it makes sense that her Commander deck wins by out-thinking the table. Scions & Spellcraft is the Final Fantasy XIV deck from the 2025 Final Fantasy crossover, led by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed in white, blue and black. It plays like a true caster's deck: patient, controlling, and steadily grinding out card advantage.

Y'shtola rewards you for leaning on bigger noncreature spells. Cast one and she drains each opponent while you gain life, and at the end of any turn where a player lost 4 or more life, you draw a card. Those two abilities feed each other, so a well-timed spell turns into both damage and fuel for the next turn. Esper colors give you the removal, counterspells and card draw to survive long enough for the drain to add up across a multiplayer table.

For Final Fantasy XIV players, this is a chance to bring a favorite Miqo'te sorceress and the spirit of Eorzea's heroes into a different kind of adventure. For Magic players who like to sit back, hold up answers and win through inevitability, Scions & Spellcraft has a clear plan out of the box and plenty of room to tune, from more efficient spells to extra ways to punish opponents for every point of life they lose.

It is a deck that feels smart to pilot, which is exactly what Y'shtola would want.
