Item Description

Some players remember FINAL FANTASY for its villains or its soundtracks. Plenty of others remember the chocobo: the big yellow bird with the warbling theme that carried them across world maps, raced at the Gold Saucer and turned up in nearly every game in the series. The FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle hands that bird the spotlight in Magic: The Gathering.

It is a chocobo-themed take on the bundle for Magic's FINAL FANTASY set, the Universes Beyond crossover that brought Square Enix's flagship RPG series into Standard-legal Magic. The headline attraction is the Chocobo Booster, a special pack built around full-art Chocobo basic lands and borderless Chocobo Bundle cards, and the theme carries through to the life counter and card box.

The Play Boosters alongside it open up the whole FINAL FANTASY set, with heroes and villains drawn from across the mainline games, Summon cards that play out chapter by chapter as Saga creatures, and Job select Equipment that shows up with its own Hero token ready to wear it.

The result is a bundle with real personality. It makes a cheerful starting point for a chocobo-themed deck, a fun group opening for a FINAL FANTASY fan just getting into Magic, and a colorful piece for anyone tracking down every corner of this crossover.
