Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Every time Etali, Primal Storm attacks, it turns the whole table into its spellbook. The Elder Dinosaur exiles the top card of each player's library, then you may cast any number of spells from among those cards without paying their mana costs. Your own cards, your opponents' best threats, a random sweeper: it all becomes free ammunition, and every swing is a little lottery you control.
That chaotic energy has made Etali a long-running Commander favorite, both as a red general and as a top-end threat in Dinosaur and big-mana decks. Six mana for a 6/6 is already a fair rate, and in a four-player game each attack can hit four libraries at once. Give it haste or extra combat steps and things get out of hand in the best way. The flavor text, “The storm rages and the earth breaks,” says it all.
This is the Time Spiral Remastered printing, collector number 342, illustrated by Raymond Swanland, in non-foil. It comes from the set's special timeshifted sheet, which reprinted modern-era cards in Magic's classic retro frame, so this Ixalan dinosaur gets an old-school look that sets it apart in any collection.
