Item Description
Espurr looks like the calmest Pokémon in the room, and that is exactly the joke. Behind those huge, unblinking eyes sits enough psychic energy that, according to its Pokédex lore, it could blast everything around it if it ever lost control, which is why its ears are folded tight to keep the power in. This illustration rare leans into that quiet tension, giving the little Kalos Constraint Pokémon a full-scene illustration by MINAMINAMI Take.
On the table it is a humble 60 HP Basic: Nap heals 20 damage from Espurr, and Stampede does 10 for a single Psychic Energy. Nobody chases an illustration rare for the attacks, though. These cards exist to turn a familiar Pokémon into a little piece of art, and an Espurr dozing, staring or plotting is a perfect subject for that.
This is the ME03: Perfect Order printing, card 095/088, an illustration rare illustrated by MINAMINAMI Take, in foil. Its number sits beyond the main set count, where Perfect Order places its special illustration cards, which makes it a satisfying pull for collectors building that part of the set.
