Item Description

Fifteen mana, a 15/15 flier, and almost no way to answer it: Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is the Eldrazi titan at its most extreme. It cannot be countered, and simply casting it gives you an extra turn after this one. Once on the battlefield it has flying, protection from spells that are one or more colors and annihilator 6, so every attack forces the defending player to sacrifice six permanents.

Even the graveyard cannot hold it. Whenever Emrakul is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles their graveyard into their library, which makes it shrug off mill and discard and keeps it coming back. That is why it became a famous target for Sneak Attack and Show and Tell, cards that put it onto the battlefield without paying the full cost. Since its debut in Rise of the Eldrazi in 2010, it has been the colossal face of the Eldrazi, and in Commander and cube it is still the ultimate big-mana finisher.

This is the Double Masters 2022 borderless printing, collector number 575, featuring Kev Walker's artwork in textured foil. Textured foils add a raised, tactile pattern on top of the foil shine, and on a borderless titan this size, the effect is spectacular.
