Complete in box: the cartridge, the manual and the box, all original; anything beyond that is included only if you can see it in the photos. Look over the photos for condition, packaging and details. Every cartridge's shell, label and board are checked for authenticity when it comes into the store, and it's tested before it's listed. It ships in a collector's bag or a hard plastic case.

Item Description

Agent 17, codename Otto, has one job: get into the building, grab every top-secret document and make it down to the getaway car in the basement. Nothing about that job is quiet. Taito's 1983 arcade spy game made its name on that elevator-riding, door-ducking, hallway-shootout formula, and this Game Boy version reworks it for the handheld instead of just shrinking it.

The basics feel familiar. You ride elevators between floors, keep an eye on the doors enemy agents step out of, and duck, jump and fire your way toward the exit. Without the arcade's red doors, document rooms are marked with an exclamation point, while doors marked with a question mark hand you a random weapon: a shotgun, a machine gun or grenades, an arsenal the arcade original never offered.

The smaller screen changed the architecture, too. Instead of one tall shaft, each building scrolls left and right into a more maze-like layout, so finding all the documents becomes part puzzle, part infiltration. Taito softened the difficulty to match by adding health, letting Otto drop a single floor without harm and allowing him to cross elevator cables, which makes this version friendlier to newcomers than the famously unforgiving cabinet.

The result is a neat curiosity in Taito's Game Boy library: a classic arcade concept rethought with weapons and exploration, a few years before the full sequel Elevator Action Returns arrived. Its short missions play beautifully on the go, and the spy-movie premise has aged better than most early-'80s arcade ideas.
