Item Description

Eevee has always been about possibility, and Eevee ex turns that idea into a rule. Its Rainbow DNA Ability lets it evolve into any Pokémon ex that evolves from Eevee when you play that card from your hand onto it, so a single Basic can become whichever Eeveelution ex your hand and the board are asking for.

It can hold its own before it evolves, too. Coruscating Quartz hits for 200 damage for one Fire, one Water and one Lightning Energy, a cost that reads like a roll call of Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon. As a 200 HP Tera Pokémon ex, it takes no damage from attacks while it waits on your Bench, which makes it a safe place to park your evolution plans. When it is Knocked Out, your opponent takes two Prize cards.

This is the SVP Black Star Promo printing, collector number 174, from the Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection, in holofoil. The background art is by Natsuko Shoji été, with the Pokémon artwork by N-DESIGN Inc. It sits naturally beside a Prismatic Evolutions binder, a set built around Eevee and its eight evolutions.
