Item Description
Dr. Eggman has been scheming against Sonic since 1991, and his Magic card plays exactly like a villain with a plan. He's a five-mana blue, black and red legendary Human Scientist, a 3/6 with flying, and at the beginning of each of your end steps you draw a card. Then every opponent faces a villainous choice: discard a card, or let you put a Construct, Robot or Vehicle card from your hand straight onto the battlefield.
Either answer helps the doctor. Opponents bleed cards every single turn, or you drop expensive machinery into play for free, which makes him an inviting commander for Grixis artifact decks packed with Robots, Constructs and Vehicles. The sturdy 3/6 body keeps him safe in the air while the steady card draw keeps the factory running, and the villainous choice mechanic gives every end step a little theatrical tension.
This is the borderless foil Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 2084, a mythic from the Sonic the Hedgehog Secret Lair collaboration, illustrated by Nathalie Fourdraine. The borderless frame lets the artwork run edge to edge, and the foil finish gives gaming's most persistent mad scientist the showy presentation he would absolutely insist on.
