Our grade: Lightly Played. Shown with a stock image — ask and we'll photograph the card itself. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Every wasteland wanderer needs a good dog, and Dogmeat, Ever Loyal brings back the gear you need. When he enters, you mill five cards, then return an Aura or Equipment card from your graveyard to your hand. After that, whenever a creature you control that is enchanted or equipped attacks, you create a Junk token, an artifact you can sacrifice to exile the top card of your library and play it that turn.
That makes Dogmeat a support legend rather than a big attacker: he fetches the pieces a Voltron-style deck needs, then keeps your hand stocked with extra plays as your suited-up creatures swing. He led the red-green-white Scrappy Survivors precon from Magic's Fallout Commander decks, built around Auras and Equipment, and he makes a natural commander for a deck that loves dressing creatures up for battle. Fallout players will recognize the companion who has followed Vault Dwellers across the series since the very first game.
This is the showcase printing from Magic's Fallout set, collector number 340, illustrated by Mark Poole and offered here in non-foil. Poole has painted for Magic since its original 1993 Alpha set, so this version pairs a veteran Magic artist with one of gaming's most famous dogs.
