Item Description
Stardew Valley meets Magic in this charming Secret Lair card. Dawn's Truce is printed here as Pierre's Truce, named for the shopkeeper who runs Pelican Town's general store, and the artwork comes from ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley himself. It is a delightful crossover for anyone who has spent a few too many in-game seasons tending crops.
The card is a clever protection spell. For two mana, you and the permanents you control gain hexproof until end of turn, which shuts down targeted removal at the critical moment. Dawn's Truce also has gift: you may promise an opponent a gift as you cast it, letting them draw a card, and if you do, your permanents gain indestructible as well. Hand someone a card, and your board can shrug off a wrath. In multiplayer Commander, that kind of political bargain makes for great table moments.
Dawn's Truce first appeared in 2024's Bloomburrow, the set that introduced gift. This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 2803, a borderless foil by ConcernedApe, a cozy, eye-catching upgrade for a white Commander deck.
