Mega Greninja ex leads the charge in Chaos Rising, and a ninja frog in full Mega form is about as fitting a mascot as a set with this name could ask for. Released in May 2026 as the fourth main expansion of the Pokémon TCG's Mega Evolution series, Chaos Rising draws on Japan's Ninja Spinner set and carries the Kalos flavor of Pokémon Legends: Z-A into the card game.
Five Mega Evolution Pokémon ex headline the 122-card set: Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Gallade ex and Mega Dragalge ex. Floette's Mega form is a treat for anyone attached to its place in the Kalos story, and seeing Dragalge get the Mega treatment is exactly the kind of surprise that makes a new set fun to explore. Beyond the Megas, the art lineup runs deep, with 11 Illustration Rares and six Special Illustration Rares covering both Pokémon and Supporters, and every Rare and below also comes in a Reverse Holofoil version for binder builders.
A booster box is the way to experience a set like this properly. Open it pack by pack with friends, chase the Megas across a whole evening, and come away with enough depth to start a master set or build a deck around a favorite Mega ex. Or leave it sealed as the centerpiece of a Mega Evolution era shelf, a snapshot of the season Greninja went Mega.
