Item Description
Players of Fallout: New Vegas will remember Cass as the hard-drinking caravaneer who could hold her own in a firefight. On the battlefield she is a four-mana red-white legendary Human Ranger, a 4/3 with vigilance, built for the Boros decks that love suiting creatures up.
Her real job is protecting your investment. Whenever Cass or another creature you control dies, if it was enchanted or equipped, you return its Aura cards from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to a target creature, then move its Equipment onto that same creature. A carefully built Voltron threat no longer collapses to one removal spell; the whole kit simply jumps to the next body and keeps swinging. As a commander she gives Aura and Equipment decks a resilience they rarely get, and in the ninety-nine she is great insurance for anyone who stacks gear on one big attacker.
This is the Fallout extended-art printing, collector number 938, a surge foil rare illustrated by Dan Watson. Surge foil adds a rippling, layered shine across the whole card, and the extended art lets Dan Watson's illustration stretch beyond the usual frame.
