Complete in box: the cartridge, the manual and the box, all original. Original inserts or paperwork shown in the photos are included; display stands and other photography props are not. The photos are of this exact cartridge — look them over closely for its condition, packaging and details. Every cartridge's shell, label and board are checked for authenticity when it comes into the store, and it's tested before it's listed. It ships in a collector's bag or a hard plastic case.

Item Description

Carnival Games for the Nintendo DS shrinks a whole midway into your pocket: the bright stalls, the ticket counter, the barker's invitation to step right up. Developer Cat Daddy Games and publisher 2K Play followed their surprise Wii hit with this 2008 handheld edition, and instead of swinging a remote, everything here runs through the stylus, the buttons and even the microphone.

The midway mixes returning favorites with brand-new stalls. Alley Ball brings the skee-ball lane to the touch screen, Frog Leap and Dunk Tank make the jump from the Wii original, and newcomers like Clown Hammer and RC Raceway add fresh tests of timing and steering. Rather than sticking to one control scheme, the attractions lean on everything the DS can do, mixing taps and stylus moves with blowing and speaking into the microphone, so each stall feels a little different in your hands and there is plenty of fairground kitsch to go around.

Winning earns tickets, the currency of the whole fair, and cashing them in for prizes gives you a reason to chase one more high score. It is simple, cheerful and built for short bursts, a snapshot of the late-2000s boom when every family seemed to have a DS and a stack of pick-up-and-play games, and kids who wore out the Wii version will recognize the spirit right away.
