Somewhere in the hills of Kitakami lurks an Ursaluna unlike any other: a hulking, shadowy bear with a glowing crimson eye. Bloodmoon Ursaluna arrived with The Teal Mask, the first DLC chapter for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and its Ground and Normal typing, signature Blood Moon move and haunting look made it an instant favorite.
The card game captured that power faithfully. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex from Twilight Masquerade carries 260 HP and a Blood Moon attack for 240 damage, and its Seasoned Skill ability makes that attack cheaper for every Prize card your opponent has taken. It is the classic comeback card: the further behind you fall, the faster this bear wakes up and swings.
The Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Box, released in November 2024, is built around a promo version of the card with artwork distinct from the Twilight Masquerade printing, which gives binder collectors a reason to own both. Pack openers get a pleasantly sized session of Scarlet & Violet era packs, and sealed collectors get a box built around the DLC's most atmospheric design. It is the rare ex Box whose featured Pokémon brings a whole ghost story with it.
