Item Description
Angel of Serenity is a seven-mana flier that walks in and takes three creatures with it. When it enters, you may exile up to three other target creatures from the battlefield and/or creature cards from graveyards, and they stay gone for as long as the Angel sticks around. When it leaves the battlefield, those cards return to their owners' hands.
That wording opens up a lot of play. Point it at opposing threats for a one-card sweeper stapled to a 5/6 body, or aim it at your own graveyard to exile your best creatures, then bounce or blink the Angel to return them to your hand for recasting. It's a natural fit in white reanimator and flicker decks, and against graveyard strategies it can scoop key creature cards right out of an opponent's yard.
This is the Secret Lair Drop borderless printing, collector number 1377, illustrated by Nephelomancer, in foil. It's a Universes Beyond Secret Lair release, and the borderless art gives a towering angel the whole card to loom over.
