Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.

Item Description

One green mana, five cards deep. Ancient Stirrings looks at the top five cards of your library, lets you reveal a colorless card from among them and put it into your hand, then sends the rest to the bottom in any order. The key detail is that lands are colorless, along with artifacts and colorless creatures like the Eldrazi, so the card digs for far more than its text first suggests.

It was printed in Rise of the Eldrazi to help find the set's colorless titans, and it has since become a favorite of any deck built around lands or artifacts. Land-combo decks use it to find the exact piece they need, artifact decks use it to find their engines, and Commander decks with colorless-heavy builds get a one-mana cantrip that almost always hits. Setting the bottom of your library in the order you like is a small bonus that matters in long games.

This is the Time Spiral Remastered retro-frame timeshifted printing, collector number 355, illustrated by Vincent Proce, in non-foil, which puts a 2010 card into the classic pre-2003 frame.
